CAMP HILL, PA – Registration is now open for Industry Days, September 13-14, at Hershey America’s Largest RV Show®, presented by the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA).
PRVCA will host the industry for two Education Days on September 13 and 14 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. RV technicians can earn continuing education units for many of the sessions presented by knowledgeable industry trainers.
On Monday, September 13, Lippert Components will offer training on Slimrack Slide-outs and Level UP Hydraulic Leveling. The session, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is worth six CEUs and includes lunch. Regins RV will help technicians minimize water damage by utilizing Sealtech Leak testing in its session scheduled from 10 to 12 noon. Dexter Axle will offer training on servicing RV axles, spring suspension and electric braking systems from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The training includes lunch and attendees will earn 4 CEUs.
PRVCA Education Director Greg Dewalt offers warranty administration training from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. His session will explain the warranty administration’s role in keeping your dealership running smoothly and effectively. He will explain how to create a streamlined process, build best practices, provide transparent reporting, maximizing warranty processing and more. Lunch is provided and attendees will earn 6 CEUs for completing the seminar.
The education sessions continue Tuesday, September 14 with RV Electricity for technicians and campgrounds. Mike Sokol, RV Electricity, will offer advanced troubleshooting techniques for lithium vs FLA and AGM batteries, selecting inverter and generator power, including solar panels and charge controllers. He will also discuss campground pedestal testing and maintenance, including load balancing of campgrounds, hot-skin voltage causes, testing and repair. This session, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is worth 6 CEUs and includes lunch.
Dexter Axle returns to offer its session on servicing RV axles, spring suspensions and electric braking systems from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Greg Dewalt will present “How to improve the customer service experience” from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. He will explore what events impact customer experiences and help you establish policy and procedures to improve the customer experience. In addition, he’ll explain how to train your staff and to evaluate, adjust and repeat the training cycle.
Tom Romero of Horizon Global will provide his training expertise for the REESE heavy duty towing products session from 1 to 3 p.m. He will review the installation and set up for the REESE Sidewinder short bed truck 5th wheel trailer towing solution, REESE Goose Box, REESE Pro weight distribution and sway control, and REESE M5 fifth wheel hitches.

Tuesday, September 14 is a show preview day for the industry. More than 30 manufacturers will be exhibiting the newest model RVs with new floor plans and the latest in interior décor. It’s a great time for dealers to talk to their manufacturer representatives and ask questions. In addition, booth exhibitors will offer RV parts and accessories, camping gear, campgrounds, travel destinations and services.
PRVCA will host an online silent auction to benefit the PRV Political Action Committee (PAC) fund. More information and a participation link will be provided closer to the show.
